ITAC has clarified that it has issued thousands of export permits for medicines since COVID19 level 5 lockdown.
This followed complaints that medicines bound for Botswana and Namibia were being turned away at the borders.
ITAC, based on facts, has to the best of its capabilitities played its role of issuing permits regardless of lockdown challenges.
